Many air machines have hit the market in a battle to solve the problems with the air we breathe. Marketing data shows that the ION and OZONE machines have sales in the millions of dollars. So why don’t they work as advertised? They do, these machines reduce the pollutants in the air dramatically, however, with one side effect. They change the molecular structure of the air by positively and negatively charging the air as it passes through the machine putting ozone and ions into the air one breathes.
